At the 2026 LWML Oklahoma District, Convention, we will address how we can find God’s peace in every life encounter.
We are excited to have Michelle Diercks, author and national speaker, lead our Bible Study on “Finding Peace in God’s Presence”. Our interest sessions will address “Finding Peace” and how God lifts us up during times of loneliness, depression, grief, anxiety, weakness, difficulty in forgiving, and when social media influences try to direct us away from God. Our speakers will include pastors, deaconesses, and a clinical psychologist — each with expertise in these areas.
Our keynote speaker will be Rev. Dr. David Nehrenz discussing the status of the LCMS in our current time. We will also hear from a representative from national LWML discussing their goals for the next biennium and a mission speaker discussing the impact of MOST ministries on both the care givers and the care receivers.
One new addition to our convention will be the Mission Marketplace. LWML members may contribute crafts for sale at the
Marketplace with all sales donated to mites.
