SPECIAL SUMMER APPEAL for ASSISTANCE

Dear Fellow Members of Trinity Lutheran Church, School and Campus Ministry

Trinity Lutheran’s School Board appeals to you and all our members for assistance with the mission of our School and Child Care through our sacrificial giving. The wonderful teaching of the love of our Lord Jesus Christ to the children has been happening for 21 years.  Countless families have been impacted by this Gospel work of “bringing the children” to Jesus Christ, “for of such are the kingdom of God!”

In the normal course of the year, our summer “Sonshine Camp,” held at our Church and School facility, generates sufficient monies to provide for the initial start up costs for the coming School year. However, what has been the norm for the last ten years did not occur, and the lower enrollment this Summer  and for our Fall classes this coming School year, did not generate the income required for the start up funds needed for this School year. 

It is important that our School and Child Care start the new academic year debt free, so that the cumulative pains of using borrowed money do not have to be borne by the students, staff or members of Trinity Church, School and Campus Ministry. Immediate assistance is needed. We need assistance so we can meet the two payroll dates this month: August 6th and August 20th.

Our School and Child Care have been reorganized to maximize the potential for income and the administrative staff has accepted a reduction in hours and pay. What can be done to reduce costs has been done, however cost reduction is not sufficient to overcome the lack of funds needed to begin the School year. Please pray for our School and give what you can.
